Dr. Virginia Atencio Orozco Dr. Virginia Atencio Orozco is a highly accomplished dentist, holding a DMD degree with magna cum laude distinction from the University of Zulia in Venezuela, where she ranked among the top 1% of her class. She began her career as a general dentist in her home country, where she made significant contributions to the field through her research in periodontics and oral mucosa immunology, resulting in scientific presentations and publications.Driven by a desire to expand her professional and scientific expertise, Dr. Atencio Orozco relocated to the United States. She successfully completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Columbia University in New York City. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she also possesses a basic knowledge of German. What truly fuels Dr. Atencio Orozco’s passion for dentistry is the opportunity and responsibility to assist her patients in achieving excellent oral health through preventive measures. She takes pride in providing comprehensive care plans and leveraging cutting-edge dental technology to address any oral health issues that may arise.
